Workspace

Workspace files contain various values entered during working with SP. They are used to store these values so they can be reopened next time SP is started so the work can continue

The items saved to workspace are:

Multimedia file
First subtitles
Second subtitles
Selected window - Editor, Player, Settings, Translator
UI layout
Values in Editor

Selected function tab
All values in tabs: Merge / Split, Move / Scale, Resynchronization, Reformat lines, Text corrections,
In Transitions, all values are saved except Start (automatically filled)
Values in Advanced subtitle editor are not saved

Values in Player

OSD time mode, Repeat mode, Enqueue, Ignore loops, Show subtitles, Aspect ratio mode, Synchronization
Seek to position and Bookmark values

Open and save dialog's InitialDir for all dialogs in all four main windows and in StyleOrganizer.

Workspace files can be saved separately, SP also saves a workspace to the main settings file. This workspace can be configured in Settings (General - Auto load workspace items), various items can be saved or left out. By default, Multimedia files, first and second subtitles are left out. UI Layout persistence is handled separately.
